The Spartan heavy duty split-apart basket stretcher is designed for technical rescue. A fully exposed top rail allows multiple rescuers the ability to grasp wherever is best suited to the load, and large access areas allow big or gloved hands into the hand holes. A full length HMWPE shell basket with recessed exterior stainless steel tubing enables dragging over rough or irregular terrain and protects the steel frame. A foam patient pad is supplied for patient comfort on long carry outs. The Spartan has a 1100 kg (2500 lb)/11 kN load limit and is supplied with Stratload harness connection points compatible with any size carabiner. The Spartan's Loc-Safe system secures the connection between the two parts of the stretcher without the use of pins or tubes and allows the stretcher to be assembled or disassembled in less than 15 seconds.
*Available in stainless steel or titanium.
The newest addition to the Dynamic Rescue lineup of basket stretchers, the ADVANTAGE is a complete redesign from any other plastic style basket stretcher available today.
The fully-internal stainless steel frame provides a 2500 lb. strength rating while giving a single-plane sliding surface on the bottom. The outer High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) shell is attached to the top tube, allowing the secondary rail to be completely exposed to provide full options for tying in your patient for most technical rescues.
Generous cut-out sections in the shell provide loads of exposed top rail for handling, and the 7/8 inch tubing allows for a more comfortable grip. The patient pad is made of closed-cell foam that will not allow fluids to soak into it, and is able to withstand even the harshest cleaning agents. It is glued in such a manner that allows it to be removed and replaced if required.
Standard on the ADVANTAGE is the patented StratLoad attachment points.
Built with the same attention to quality as the Titan Series, the Gazelle Series baskets are ideal for industrial rescue organizations.
With three styles to choose from, Regular, Tapered and Confined-Space, there is a model to fit any need.
The standard finish is a black powder coat, and it comes with 3x 1-3/4" patient restraints using the simple and effective two-bar, three-bar connection system.
As with the Titan Series, the Gazelle basket stretchers utilize black, Durathene netting in place of 'chicken wire'. Durathene has great weather characteristics and you will not have broken and rusting wire-ends scratching the rescuer or the patient. This netting is fastened to the stretcher using shock-cord, giving it the flexibility it needs for a long life in rugged conditions and is easily replaced.
All three models are constructed using carbon steel and are MIG welded.
The Traverse Rescue Stretcher (TRS) has been designed and constructed for both horizontal and vertical casualty evacuations. The lightweight and compact roll-up design makes this stretcher ideal for high angle and confined space rescue, as well as backcountry wilderness and helicopter operations. The wrap-around concept gives the patient a feeling of security and protects arms and sides from further injury during evacuation procedures.
The stretcher is constructed using an inner layer made from a tough high density polyethylene sheet, which give the stretcher it's rigidity when curved around the patient. The outer fabric shell is made using two different materials. The base fabric is a 1350 Denier Cordura nylon with a heavy PU coating, which has been specially woven to be as tough as possible to resist abrasion and cuts. The top layer is 1000 Denier Cordura making a tough but comfortable layer for the patient to lay on. The carry handles and vertical lift attachment points are construct from 2' web and are designed as structural attachment points for a lifting bridle. The plastic tubing on the carry handle makes for a much more comfortable carry for rescuers. The built-in color-coded full body adjustable harness restrains the patient securely in the stretcher so there is no need to fold over the head and foot end of the stretcher, which can cause discomfort to the patient. Padded straps in the shoulder and groin areas make for a comfortable fit, while the foot strap stops the patient from sliding down during vertical lifts. The six outer 2 'web restraint straps further secure the patient into the stretcher by wrapping the stretcher around the patient's body using a two-bar, thee-bar steel buckle system, which is easy and quick to work with even with glove on. The stretcher comes with a cordura storage bag with backpack shoulder straps.
