The Spartan heavy duty split-apart basket stretcher is designed for technical rescue. A fully exposed top rail allows multiple rescuers the ability to grasp wherever is best suited to the load, and large access areas allow big or gloved hands into the hand holes. A full length HMWPE shell basket with recessed exterior stainless steel tubing enables dragging over rough or irregular terrain and protects the steel frame. A foam patient pad is supplied for patient comfort on long carry outs. The Spartan has a 1100 kg (2500 lb)/11 kN load limit and is supplied with Stratload harness connection points compatible with any size carabiner. The Spartan's Loc-Safe system secures the connection between the two parts of the stretcher without the use of pins or tubes and allows the stretcher to be assembled or disassembled in less than 15 seconds.
