Another remarkable innovation from Rescue Systems, Inc. the OMNI-SLING is comprised of a unique webbing weave which adds incredible strength without compromising on weight.
Constructed with 2 inch long slots and separated by 1 inch of solid webbing, the OMNI-SLING is the only rigging anchor sling that has a separate rigging point every 3 in. Rigging slots are actually woven into the original webbing construction and not simply sewn in, yielding incredible strength and versatility.
Sewn daisy-chain rigging loops often fail at the stitch points well below the sling's rated strength (as most sewn daisy-chains utilize 1-inch tubular webbing with a tensile strength of 4,000 lbs). The webbing used in the OMNI-Sling has an ultimate tensile strength of 8,000 lbf and exceeds all standards and regulations for one person life support lines. When looped like a basket hitch, the OMNI-Sling meets rescue weight requirements.
Available in orange or black, with special lengths available upon request.
Comfortable helmet for work at height and rescue
With its strong chinstrap, the VERTEX BEST helmet sets the standard in head protection for workers at height. Its unventilated shell protects against electrical hazards and molten metal splash. Its six-point textile suspension ensures maximum comfort, and its CenterFit adjustment system adjusts the headband and keeps the helmet centered on the head. The VERTEX BEST is designed for optimal attachment of a PIXA or ULTRA VARIO headlamp, a VIZIR, VIZIR SHADOW or VIZEN protective shield, and hearing protection.
The NER prusik cord strikes the perfect balance between firm and supple. It is engineered specifically as prusik cord so that the rope has enough give to grip the rope but not be so mushy that the knot locks up. This results in a smooth, controlled movement over the climbing rope and makes untying the prusik knot easier to manage.
The Ferno Fastrap Quick Restraint 10-point, six-strap system is used to quickly secure patients to backboards and other devices. It is designed for easy storage and rapid application in patient immobilization.
The color-coded Fastrap is black, red, yellow, green and gray, sequentially coded. The Fastrap system is constructed of nylon webbing with hook-and-loop closures at the ends of the straps. The Fastrap system is compatible with Ferno backboards and Scoop stretchers.
Size is adjustable from adult all the way down to pediatric.
The KM III is an exceptional static rope for rappelling, caving, rescue, top roping, fixed rope applications, hauling, and life safety applications. The unique polyester sheath differentiates KM-III from other static ropes. The polyester sheath is balanced with a nylon core to limit rotation, bouncing, and stretch.
KM III is NFPA (G) and CE approved, and all come with an NFPA certification tag and CE labels. Thirty-two bobbins provide the correct sheath for the unique demands of static rope and the optimum sheath/core ratio. This allows for an incredibly smooth sheath, higher tensile strengths, and superior handling characteristics.
High-strength Vulcan carabiners are designed for rescue professionals. With a large gate opening and high strength, these carabiners are ideal for setting multiple anchors where conditions are difficult and weight is not an issue.
The Vulcan carabiner is available in two locking systems: manual (SCREW-LOCK system) or automatic (TRIACT-LOCK system) and two colours, gold or black.

Constructed out of New England 8mm prusik cordage, these sewn loops will stay supple and maintain an excellent grip on the rope over their lifetime, never becoming mushy in the knot and still being easy to untie.
Each sewn loop comes with technical data for reference on a shrink-wrapped label so you can easily identify and check your software. The sewn loops take the guess-work out of your riggers' hands when tying a double-fisherman bend under pressure and make for an easier and faster application of a prusik loop onto a static rope.

The ALS Extreme pack is a truly unique animal. It is designed to meet the needs of EMTs and Paramedics who perform in severe environments such as skiing, rappelling, riding snowmobiles, or helitack insertions.
The ALS Extreme sports six zippered compartments, including a removable top pocket, a fold away suspension system, and is built entirely from Cordura and high count Ballistic nylon.
It has ultra strong side handles, wand tunnels, and a hydration bladder sleeve. The body of the pack is very narrow to allow a full range of movement when on the rescuer's back. A truly unique feature of this pack is when accessing the main pocket, the back pockets rotate to the sides, creating a high degree of organization at your fingertips, and rotates back out of the way for transport. The main pocket zips open via huge #10 coil zippers to reveal a large compartment, completely lined with hook and loop compatible fabric (which will accept any of our MOS organizers), twin movable dividers, and a flap sporting two medium organizer pockets (you can add more). A nice feature of this pack is that the bottom end is designed for personal survival gear. By moving the divider, you can adjust just how much personal space you need, or remove the divider and use the space for medical equipment (You can also add side pockets to extend the range of your pack even further).
The fold-out suspension, coupled with a full aluminum frame, ensures a comfortable, stable ride, every time.
We absolutely guarantee that this is the best pack of its kind that you can buy.
Colours available: Yellow & Black, Tactical Black, O.D. Green, or Coyote Brown.
Volume: 4,200 cubic inches.
*Medical supplies shown are not included.
This is the medical response pack carried by one of our employees when working as dismounted medic with the Canadian Forces and he constantly raves about it.
"It rides comfortably on your back (or front when also carrying a ruck) and the fold-out side pockets allow for extreme organization of your treatment modules. The top flap can be removed and used as a stripped-down response pack (I use it to hold an IFAK and ASR kit) when the whole bag isn't required. When coupled with the Conterra velcro loops, every piece of critical kit is organized to the point that I can grab the right tool even in the dark and under pressure. I love this bag more than, correction, slightly less than my wife."
Contrerra is proud to offer the most advanced vacuum immobilizer available today. It is well known that Vacuum mattress technology is the state-of-the-art for patient protection and comfort.
The VSB sports many unique features that are just not found on other vacuum mattresses.
The ergonomically-designed VSB is built with special polyethylene beads that will not break down over time like the polystyrene used in other brands. In addition, the beads are compartmentalized with a series of baffles, which means you will never have to spread out or distribute the beads when applying the device.
The straps and handles are movable and removable for replacement or cleaning. In fact, the VSB can even be placed in a commercial washer or extractor for cleaning.
The VSB has a built-in pelvic binding system that is quickly movable to align with the patient’s pelvis.
Lastly, the valve system is a marvel of simplicity, just plug the hose in, pull a vacuum, and pull the hose out.
The VSB comes in two sizes; the 7 ft model for regular street use, and the lighter 6ft model for use where weight and size are at a premium, such as SAR and flight use.
Conterra has partnered with Bo Renberg, the original inventor of the Vacuum mattress to offer this unique device and are built in the USA by Bo Renberg of Medtech Sweden. Bo is a pioneer of vacuum immobilization technology, and Conterra is very proud of their partnership with him.
This fine immobilization tool is guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship.
*Even though these tools are built to the highest standards in the industry, we cannot guarantee against leakage or holes caused during use, because of the nature of pre-hospital care (so keep them out of the rose bushes!).
The NAJO Lite is our lightest backboard at just 14.5 lbs and features a central slot in the lower half of the board to immobilize each leg separately. The Lite also features two handholds at the tapered end to allow more stable transport and angled edges for easy log-rolling. Strong, one-piece HDPE construction is impervious to all bodily fluids, is easy to decontaminate, and provides 100% x-ray translucency. The board is also buoyant and can be used to float a patient in the water.
