ASAP Mobile fall-arrest device for rope.
With its unique locking system, the ASAP is a reference product in fall protection for workers at height. In normal use, the device moves freely along the rope without any manual intervention and accompanies the user in all his movements. In case of shock or sudden acceleration, the ASAP locks on the rope and stops the user. The ASAP may also be combined with an ASAP'SORBER energy absorbing lanyard to work at a distance from the rope and absorb fall forces.
Stops a fall, a slide or uncontrolled descent. For use on a lifeline (9mm to 13mm). Locks even if the device is grabbed during a fall. Works on vertical or angled rope. Moves up and down along the rope without manual intervention. Easy to install and remove at any point on the rope. May be used with an ASAP'SORBER energy absorbing lanyard to create the desired distance from the safety line.

The shape and size of this carabiner makes it great for most uses, from connecting a belay device to your harness or as a connector at the end of a lanyard. The D-shape makes it one of the strongest and lightest locking carabiners Petzl makes. Perfectly suited for use with belay devices due to its symmetric shape on both ends of the carabiner. In addition, the D-shape has the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all Petzl carabiner designs. This carabiner comes with Petzl's Keylock system.
Available with manual locking (SCREW-LOCK) gate or auto-locking systems (BALL-LOCK, TRIACT-LOCK).
